Job summary

Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking a Per Diem Residence LPN to join our expanding Residence team at a new 10-bed hospice facility in Wayland, MA. Shifts are flexible and designed to accommodate staff availability.

This role provides direct patient care, including ongoing assessment, pain management, and symptom control in line with the patient’s care plan. Independence in a one-on-one setting with patients is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts LPN License in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in community health, oncology nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Comfort working independently in a one-on-one setting with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including ongoing assessment, pain management, and symptom control per the plan of care.
• Notifies Nursing Care Coordinator of significant changes in condition and documents care provided.
