Job summary

Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking a Per Diem Weekend Nurse Liaison to join its on-site team at Newton Wellesley Hospital. You will provide hospice information to patients, families and staff, conduct clinical assessments and help coordinate discharge planning.

The role requires MA RN licensure, at least two years in hospice or related fields, and strong communication skills. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays offered with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Licensed by MA as a Registered Nurse.
• At least two years' experience in community health, oncology, hospice or palliative care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff and families.
• Skilled at patient assessments and problem solving.
• Competent with hospice nursing practice standards.
