Job summary

Benchmark Therapies is seeking Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our team at Pine Run Village in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. You’ll provide OT treatment under the direction of a licensed OT, support residents in activities of daily living, and help maintain independence for older adults in a collaborative team setting.

This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, a supportive leadership team, and the chance to stay connected to patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• A genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A thoughtful, dependable, and team-oriented approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs, routines, and personal goals.
• Help residents improve or maintain independence with dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, meals, and other daily activities.
• Use and reinforce adaptive equipment, strategies, and environmental modifications as part of the resident’s plan of care.
• Support residents in staying as independent and involved in their daily routines as possible.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
• Communicate resident progress, concerns, and changes in condition with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems.
• Be part of a positive, supportive, and team-focused therapy environment.
