Job summary

BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh is hiring experienced CNAs and PCAs for immediate openings in the Durham area. We value professionalism, compassion, and quality care, and seek dependable caregivers to join our team in home-based settings.

Our caregivers provide personalized care to help clients stay safe at home, with flexible per diem scheduling and ongoing support. All offers require passing a background and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA License or proof of work experience for PCA applicants (NC only).
• Current TB test.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Completion of all state-mandated training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes.
• Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the client's plan of care.
• Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately.
• Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures.
• Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations.
• Use caregiving equipment safely, including Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time.
• Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance.
• Assist with client transportation as needed.
