Qualifications

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills required.
• Hoyer Lift experience preferred.
• Active North Carolina CNA License or proof of work experience for PCA applicants.
• Current TB test.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Completion of all state-mandated training requirements.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to transport clients.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes.
• Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the client's plan of care.
• Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately.
• Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures.
• Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations.
• Use caregiving equipment safely and properly, including Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time.
• Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance.
• Assist with client transportation as needed.
