Job summary

Sunny Days of California seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers in home and community settings. Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license is required.
• Pediatric experience with Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow IFSP and collaborate with families to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers' confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
