First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You will control your schedule, choosing shifts that fit your life, with competitive per diem pay and flexible weekly options.

Shifts are 7a-7p or 7p-7a; ideal candidates have 2+ years in PCU, an active Virginia RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. Daily and weekly pay options are available as you build your roster.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
