First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with flexible scheduling and options for daily or weekly pay.

Requirements include active VA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and recent PCU experience. Perks include competitive per diem pay and the ability to work as little as one shift per month.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Administering medications and IV therapies
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams
• Maintaining electronic medical records and infection-control standards
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments
