Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (current)
• Minimum Virginia RN license
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience in the past 4 years
• AHA BLS current
• AHA ACLS current
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current within 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (or documented exemption)

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
