Job summary

Decena Home Care in Arlington is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide hands-on daily living support. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship under supervision.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus—we’ll train the right heart.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care Excellence: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Mobility & Exercise: ambulation guidance, walker/wheelchair use, and ROM routines.
• Nutritious Meal Prep: plan and cook simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Safe & Tidy Home: light housekeeping, laundry, fall-prevention checks.
• Medication Cueing: timely reminders and note changes for supervising nurse.
• Meaningful Companionship: conversation, games, escorted outings.
• Errands & Transportation: drive or accompany clients to appointments and activities.
