Job summary

Senior Care Partners PACE is seeking a Participant Care Assistant (PCA) - Float to support participants at the Day Center and in their homes in Albion, MI. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with care delivered across onsite and home settings as part of a flexible care team.

As a PCA Float, you’ll assist with ADLs, encourage activity, respect each participant’s dignity, deliver supplies as needed, and adapt to various care environments.

Qualifications

• Must work one winter & summer holiday per year.
• Must be available to be on-call 8 weekend days/year.
• Must have reliable transportation, current Michigan driver's license and car insurance.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, Covid-19 and Hepatitis B.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to support independence.
• Encouraging participants to stay active and engaged.
• Respecting each person’s dignity and autonomy.
• Helping deliver supplies as needed.
• Adapting to various care needs and home environments.
