Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a part-time RN to provide nursing triage by telephone. The role requires Alaska RN licensure and a BSN within 3 years of hire (or equivalent experience). One year of clinical experience in applicable areas is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Alaska at hire.
• Nursing degree/diploma required at hire.
• BSN or higher within 3 years of hire (or equivalent education/experience).
• 1 year of clinical experience in home health, telehealth, medical-surgical, critical care, emergency, pediatric or maternal-child health nursing preferred.
• RNs hired before 2021 encouraged to obtain BSN but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing triage to the general public via telephone and assess appropriate intervention using the nursing process.
