Job summary

Christensen Farms is seeking a Part-Time Site Manager to provide oversight of swine production at assigned site(s) with flexible hours. The role focuses on animal care, environmental management, biosecurity, and adherence to production protocols while completing tasks accurately and on schedule.

This salaried, non-exempt position offers a typical 20–30 hour week, with a three-hour daily cadence across a seven-day schedule, and eligibility for earned leave benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college in Agriculture or Animal Science preferred.
• 1 year of swine production or livestock experience desired.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured processes.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to adapt and learn company policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily animal care, feeding, watering, and environment monitoring.
• Support site-level sanitation and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting.
• Uphold biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare standards.
• Respond to alarm notifications.
