The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Melville, NY provides reliable, consistent hours with flexible opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a fixed shift and optional extra shifts. This role aims to deliver dependable coverage while offering pathways to a full-time schedule up to 40 hours

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report irregularities to site management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations using established protocols.
• Prepare daily activity, incident, and patrol reports.
