Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Badge Verification in Talladega, AL. This role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $14.34 per hour with a 6‑month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to grow into full‑time schedules up to 40 hours per week. Strong customer service and badge experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and access points.
• Monitor access to assigned areas and document activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs.
