Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, has a part-time opportunity for a Security Officer Enhanced (Unarmed Access Control Patrol) in Talladega, AL. You will provide dependable coverage at an assigned site with the flexibility to take on extra shifts when available.

Pay rate is $14.34 per hour. The role includes fixed anchor shifts, opportunities to pick up additional shifts, and a pathway to grow within a national security leader.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel per site procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, document activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report findings accurately.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Maintain detailed logs and communicate observations to leadership.
