Allied Universal in Riverview, FL is hiring a part-time Security Officer – Patrol Surveillance. The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform, providing flexible hours and the potential to earn more.

Salary is $17.75 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to move toward full-time work. The position requires a guard card or license (preferred), 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare purchasing and logistics location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery verification.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear patrol reports and share information with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
