Allied Universal® in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. Pay rate is $16.00 per hour with a Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities include customer service, site patrols, access control, incident response, and documenting logs. Requirements: 18+, HS diploma, background check, drug screen; driving roles need a valid license.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required, where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at the site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders.
• Report maintenance concerns and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
