Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Salisbury, MD. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, allowing flexible hours and the potential to increase earnings up to 40 hours per week.

You will provide exceptional customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional handling. A valid driver’s license and base qualifications apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vendor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
