Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time for Roseau, MN. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

The position provides part‑time hours with potential progression toward a full‑time schedule and a driver‑patrol emphasis. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour, and candidates must meet basic requirements including a valid driver’s license and HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter, reporting hazards and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and communicate to appropriate personnel.
