Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Information Desk in Chesterfield, MI to provide reliable, consistent hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and progress toward a full-time schedule. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/regulation.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a front desk within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating arrival information to appropriate personnel.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide site information, and assist with routine inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
