Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screener in Avenel, NJ. The role offers flexible paid hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You’ll perform site-specific screening, manage access, and respond to incidents, all while contributing to a safe environment. Pay rate is $19.96 per hour with a fixed schedule and potential growth through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law and policy.
• Drug screen to be administered where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors and employees while performing site-specific screening.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages and items entering designated areas per site procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and access records, and direct to loading, shipping, or admin areas.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
