Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time to provide customer service, access control, and safety at a commercial property. This fixed schedule role offers reliable hours and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will patrol interiors and exterior areas, monitor entry points, document observations, and respond calmly to incidents. If you value flexible part-time work with opportunity to grow toward full-time; 18+ and

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Background check will be conducted as required by law.
A drug screen may be required by the employer.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff per site policies and emergency procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations for management and responders.
Maintain daily activity and incident reports and patrol logs as required.
