Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – FLEX in Mount Prospect, IL. This part-time role offers reliable, flexible hours with an anchor shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to earn more while gaining hands-on experience.

The position pays $20.60 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment; ideal for supplemental income or progressing toward a full-time security

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate information to relevant personnel.
