The position features a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, with daytime and evening weekend coverage. It emphasizes customer service, incident response, patrols, and access control at a retail site with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, customers and visitors following site policies and procedures.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or management.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and maintaining an orderly customer environment during routine operations, peak shopping periods, and special events.
