Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, including de-escalation and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate information to site leadership.
