Job summary

Allied Universal in Irving, TX is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coordinator to provide reliable security services at a designated site. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to earn more through additional shifts.

Pay rate is $19.63 per hour. The position supports a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, aiming for a total weekly schedule up to 40 hours.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
