Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Flex Patrol in Elkridge, MD.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
