Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Corpus Christi, TX. This role offers fixed anchor shifts and additional shift options through a scheduling platform to increase earnings. It’s ideal for building experience in healthcare security while maintaining flexible hours.

You will provide patient and visitor safety, respond to emergencies, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and document incidents in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions to help support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
