Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Corpus Christi, TX. This role provides fixed shifts with an option to pick up additional shifts via a scheduling platform to grow earnings, up to a full-time schedule if desired.

Responsibilities include patient/customer safety, emergency response, patrols, access control, and incident documentation within a healthcare setting. Minimum one year security experience and HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security‑related procedures within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings and care areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions to support an orderly environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report concerns.
