Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Chattanooga, TN. This flexible role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position offers a fixed anchor shift with potential to scale up toward a full-time schedule, emphasizing customer service and security procedures. Eligible candidates must meet minimum age and education requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including exterior and parking areas, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements.
