Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and a program to claim additional shifts to boost earnings. You can scale up to a full‑time schedule while keeping flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• 2+ years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of financial institution facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Report observed maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.
