Job summary

Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide unarmed patrols, customer service, and security-related procedures at a technology, media, and telecommunications site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to earn more while gaining experience across sites.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted.
• A drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or other security-related matters.
