Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Charlotte, NC. This role provides reliable, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
