Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation while following applicable site rules and required protective equipment practices.
