Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Assessment in Northport, AL. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at a designated site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The position offers a part‑time schedule with day and overnight shifts, and a path to full‑time opportunities through paid training and ongoing career growth at Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access to designated areas and report unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations and communicate to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
