Job summary

Allied Universal in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Security Officer Flex Part Time Patrol Driver to provide dependable security at an assigned site with flexible hours. This role offers a reliable base schedule and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $22.50 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and adhering to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate observations and incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership per escalation procedures.
