Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Customer Service in Northampton, PA. In this Part Time role, you will serve clients, monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and provide professional customer service to deter incidents and protect people and property.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, reviewing visitor and driver documentation, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, issue temporary access credentials as authorized, and report discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
