Job summary

First Student is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Belmont, NH. You will transport students to and from school, supervise boarding, and ensure safety on the bus. Training is provided, with a sign-on bonus and flexible part-time schedules (AM/PM routes).

No experience is required; opportunities for advancement exist across locations in the U.S. and Canada. DOT safety requirements apply, with English language proficiency emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off and no nights or weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
