Job summary

PTLA Property Management in Concord, CA seeks a part-time Resident Manager to support the Property Management Team with curb appeal, basic utility and safe, quiet community operations.

The role involves about 5 hours per week with flexibility for occasional additional time. Duties include daily grounds checks, cleaning of common areas, lighting maintenance, trash oversight, and safety compliance. Relocation to Concord is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management or a similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of all community grounds and facilities and notify management of issues.
• Clean exterior walkways and common areas; remove litter and debris and report excess cleanup.
• Clean property facilities such as laundry rooms, mailbox areas, pool areas, etc.
• Check and replace exterior lighting as needed.
• Monitor trash and recycling; ensure scheduled pickups occur and report large items.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and ensure storage areas are locked when not in use.
• Attend periodic onsite and teleconference meetings with Property Management Team.
• Attend annual safety training as required.
• Notify management of rule violations with detailed documentation.
• Serve as emergency contact and notify authorities for life-threatening issues.
