Job summary

Retrospective Wellness LLC seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to assess patients, manage treatment plans, and coordinate services. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and staff to deliver comprehensive care and ensure compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes medication management, patient education, and crisis intervention within a collaborative team in a Houston-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a PMH focus.
• Active Texas nursing license with PMHNP certification.
• DEA number to write prescriptions.
• Current CPR/BLS certified by American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years in psychiatric nursing and prescribing meds.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients; develop individualized treatment plans with the team.
• Administer and monitor medications; educate on usage and side effects.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, therapists, and staff for treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation; ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Assess and manage psychiatric emergencies; arrange crisis interventions as needed.
