Qualifications

• Licensed as a PMHNP by state in which employee is practicing
• One year experience as a PMHNP preferred
• Three years' experience in mental health field preferred
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric health care services within the scope of license.
• Perform mental health examinations, diagnostic testing, assessments and screenings.
• Prescribe medications and instruct patients and family members on psychiatric illnesses and treatment options.
