Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Lemon Grove, CA is hiring a Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; part-time or per diem schedules are available at the Lemon Grove clinic.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic PT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate and use a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) when applicable.
