Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Lemon Grove, CA seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) for outpatient orthopedic care. Part-time or per diem positions with flexible hours are available. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, personalized treatment plans, and patient education to improve mobility and function.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and stay current with PT advances to deliver high-quality care. Experience in orthopedic PT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, using various techniques.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy to improve mobility and function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and prevention.
• Stay updated on advances in physical therapy and integrate them into practice.
• Delegate and utilize PTA where applicable.
• Adapt to changes in schedules and patient needs.
