Job summary

American Greetings is seeking part-time Merchandisers to service multiple retail locations across Ashland and nearby areas. You will display product in greeting card departments, maintain backroom organization, and manage inventory with a company tablet.

Training is provided, with opportunities to learn routing and merchandising in a fast-paced store environment. The role requires 18+ years, English proficiency, ability to lift 40 pounds, reliable transportation, and internet access.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency-able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs - Occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing time management and organizational skills
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around holidays
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including fixture work, product assembly, relocation or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet
• The ability to work on your own and with a team
