Job summary

American Greetings is hiring a Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Texas, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

The role is independent on a route with strong organization and time management. Starting pay is $13.10/hour with raises after 6 months and after 1 year; 12 hours per week with potential to rise to 15 around holidays. Training provided, 401(k) with company match, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple locations on route
• Access to reliable internet for training and updates
• Proficient with company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product in departments and maintain backroom areas
• Communicate with management regarding service/schedules
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours
• Occasional additional days and extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly
