Qualifications

• 60+ credits with a B average or better in the content area or related subject area.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to adapt tutoring methods to different learning styles.
• Ability to work well with staff, students, and faculty at a professional level.
• Ability to maintain accurate tutoring session records.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in math across developmental to pre-calculus levels.
• Participate in professional development offerings.
• Meet with Academic Skills Advisor and instructors to plan academic support.
• Maintain regular records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
