Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team in long-term care facilities. This part-time, on-site role offers autonomy, a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and strong clinical and administrative support to help older adults thrive.

Responsibilities include evaluations, individual and family therapy, care planning, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and rehab teams. A valid license and commitment to geriatric care are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Psychologist license required.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex medical conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions; lead or co-lead group therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and manage caseloads.
