Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health in the long-term care sector seeks a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team onsite at local facilities. You will provide therapy, comprehensive assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support to older adults with complex medical needs.

You will enjoy professional autonomy, a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and robust administrative and clinical support to focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist authorized to practice in the state
• Experience in geriatric behavioral health or long-term care preferred
• Ability to work onsite at LTC facilities within the local community
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults with complex medical or cognitive conditions
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions when appropriate
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and manage caseloads independently
