Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license in Washington state (per state law).
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist by filling physician orders for injectable medications.
• Prepares intravenous solutions and admixtures under aseptic technique in laminar hood.
• Maintains inventory and assists with month-end counts of medications and supplies.
• Follows USP 797 guidelines and quality assurance competencies for compounding sterile products.
